From decks to environments

This company started as Ace of Decks, a builder that treated a deck the way an architect treats a room. Full 3D design before construction. Steel framing when everyone else used lumber. Fixed prices from finished plans instead of estimates that grew on the jobsite.

Then our clients kept asking for more than the deck. A roof that opens. Walls that disappear. A kitchen, a fire, light that makes October feel like July. The projects stopped being decks and became environments, so the company grew into what it was already doing.

Ace of Decks designs that room as one thing: the deck beneath it, the cover above it, the screens that appear when weather demands and vanish when it doesn’t, and the kitchen, fire and light that fill it. Deck-primary projects still carry the Ace of Decks name, because the origin is part of the architecture.

We’ve stayed deliberately boutique. Kevin leads every design personally, and we take on the number of projects that lets us build each one the way it was drawn, not the number that fills a schedule.
